Sharing My Husband (Love Thy Brother)

Sharing My Husband (Love Thy Brother)

When Marnie met her husband, Ashton, it was love at first sight. He was her best friend, Veronica's, stepbrother and she couldn't think of anyone she'd rather have as a sister in law. Years later there's nothing in the world she wouldn't do for her husband or her best friend. Not even blindfolding her husband and letting Veronica make love to him is out of bounds for this adventurous wife.

This story contains sexually graphic scenes depicting consenting adults above the age of 18 engaged in acts of hot steamy sex.

This story is approximately 4,700 words. Perfect for reading on your phone or other mobile ereader. Indulge in a fantasy wherever you go.

Excerpt:

I felt a hand on my shoulder. Veronica let herself in like I’d asked. I nodded and she pulled off her dress. She wasn’t wearing anything underneath.
I stood back and she took my place and slowly crawled onto the bed with Ashton. I stood to the side in a position where I could see without blocking the view of the camera.

“Seeing isn’t believing; believing is seeing.” In the words of Judy the elf in the movie The Santa Clause, I constantly refer back to this idea when I begin a new project or take a new photo. Ever since I was young, the idea of magic and mystery has intrigued me. I love the possibility that there is something more out there that the human eye cannot quite see unless it is specifically looking. The mysteries of the world are what make life exciting, and exposing them to my audience is the best way I can think of to express myself.

When I take a new photo, I want to make people feel something. I am an “in the moment” photographer, I plan things out to a certain extent, but I do not spend much time thinking things through. I like to just go out with my camera and start taking pictures, and see what I end up with. I feel that a picture is much more meaningful when it is real, not planned and calculated so precisely that it loses all of its natural beauty and grace.

For my traditional self portrait, I decided to go with a simple mirror shot. I did this because I wanted the viewers to feel like they were seeing me as I see myself when I look in the mirror. I also decided not to wear any type of makeup, and to leave my hair wet and crazy, instead of trying to do it perfectly and make everything look nice. I wanted to convey the idea that I am far from perfect and that I do not intend to pretend to be. The crazy messy style of the photo shows that I am just an average girl who isn’t concerned with looking perfect, but simply concerned with being me.

My alter ego self portrait is the opposite of this idea. Although I did not attempt to physically alter my appearance with makeup and straighteners and whatnot, I showed myself hiding from the camera behind a blanket, showing that I am afraid to show my true self. I also made myself all in black and white except for my eyes while leaving the rest of the picture in color to convey the idea of fading away under the pressure of trying to be perfect, while my eyes show that I just want to be accepted for who I really am. I feel that this was a good choice for an alter ego for me because this part of me sometimes shines through. I am happy with who I am and the people I have surrounded myself with in life, but there are always times when people feel like they’re not good enough, myself included. I feel that these photos clearly represent who I truly am vs. who I try not to be.

rock heaven - aka the reach

In 1987 I purchased a 5x7 camera - a Conley - a folding wooden camera vintage 1920's or so. It was well used with much wear and very leaky bellows which had to be taped to fix those leaks. This image is from a trip I took in March of 1988. I spent the day in the Alabama Hills in the Eastern Sierra Nevada and I put this camera through its paces. For those of you not familiar with this wonderland of rock, the Alabama Hills were used as a backdrop in countless Western movies from the 40's thru the 60's. Lotsa hiding places, I guess. And the view of the Sierra Nevada from here is simply breathtaking.

This is the first image I will have posted from 5x7 film. Many more to come!

The effects of speed enforcement with mobile radar on speed and accidents [An article from: Accident Analysis and Prevention]

This digital document is a journal article from Accident Analysis and Prevention, published by Elsevier in . The article is delivered in HTML format and is available in your Amazon.com Media Library immediately after purchase. You can view it with any web browser.

Description:
In an evaluation study, the effects of targeted speed enforcement on speed and road accidents were assessed. Enforcement was predominantly carried out by means of mobile radar and focused on rural non-motorway roads. Information and publicity supported the enforcement activities. The evaluation covered a period of 5 years of enforcement. The speed data of these 5 years and the year preceding the enforcement project showed a significant decrease in mean speed and the percentage speed limit violators over time. The largest decrease was found in the first year of the enforcement project and in the fourth year of the project, when the enforcement effort was further intensified. There were similar decreases in speeding at both the enforced roads and at the nearby comparison roads that were not subjected to the targeted speed enforcement project, which may be explained by spillover effects. The best estimate for the safety effect of the enforcement project is a reduction of 21% in both the number of injury accidents and the number of serious casualties. This was based on comparison between the number of accidents/casualties during the enforcement project (5 years) and and the 8 preceding years on the enforced roads and at all other roads outside urban areas in the same region.

Mobile speed camera mobile, Sawpit Hill, Holmer Green

This mobile police speed camera on Sawpit Hill, Holmer Green was photographed causing an obstruction in front of hatched road markings, forcing uphill drivers to overtake over the hatched safety lines and into oncoming road users.

The police van was also causing a line-of-site obstruction to house-holders immediately above the van. Also one might ask why the police need two spy camaras next to each other?

The police would say that this is all in the name of road safety! Do the words hypocrite and stealth tax come to mind?
